The director of the state Association of School Administrators announced her bid Monday to be South Carolina's next superintendent, touting her various roles in education. Molly Spearman is now the eighth Republican to jump into the race since GOP schools chief Mick Zais announced in December that he's not seeking re-election. Two Democrats also are seeking the job.
